    Road Trip Part I

As an RV quilter, this show was so much fun for me. The "ouch" We have all been there. Sit around a campfire or an afternoon social hour with RVers, you will hear hundreds of "Ouch" and "oops" stories. Even the best of us have them.

And as a quilter, I loved the two shops and especially BunnyRose's yert. What a great idea.

The die cut is a wonderful idea, hope more shops begin to have them Can you imagine die cutting all those little berries for the BOM.

I am sure there will be some members who will disagree with me but I loved this show and can't wait for the rest of the road trip.

I loved it too, Ann! I'm really glad that the TQS shows are not just focusing on one genre, and I think that the road trips add a whole new flavor to them! ANITA ROADTRIP???? Ya gotta love it!!

I'm so glad to see all the positive comments on the road trip. It was a wonderful experience for me and I just talked to Lindy she agrees! It says a lot about Alex and Ricky coming to our little shops in the middle of nowhere to support us. We appreciate them so much! We both got a little teared up at seeing our shops on The Quilt Show. We are so glad it was enjoyed by everyone!

I LOVED this show, what fun! That AccuCut thing looked like a wonderful toy, and I wish I could get half a yard of all of those repro fabrics, gorgeous. I especially enjoyed the honky-tonk piano, too.

Wow... I just got to watch the show and it was fantastic. Truly, I really enjoyed every piece and part of the show. It's too bad there isn't a way to be able to reach out and touch via the internet because there were several fabrics that I really wanted to touch and take a closer look at. And, the candy store was a place that I would have had to do some shopping too!

Great job and I am really looking forward to the next episode and where you all will be!

WOW! I love this show. When my children were young, we'd pack up the SUV and go on long roadtrips. We looked kinda like the Beverly Hillbillies driving down the road! Of course, we did not travel in such luxury! I realized tonight that I really miss those days. I really enjoyed this episode a great deal. I felt like I was along for the ride. I really loved the reproduction fabrics and the antique quilts. I could have spent a lot of money on this trip! Alex, Ricky and Justin, you guys are a hoot! WandaM in steamy TX

While I'm certain that this road trip was a lot of work - the work seemed made easy with the company and the visits. And the jelly beans!

One of my favorite things in life is visiting places like Columbia State Park and Fancy Dry Goods. I've enjoyed Connor Prairie, Williamsburg, Sturbridge Village and a few others. Each place has unique qualities and some interpretation of quilting. If I ever get to California again CSP will be high on my list of things to do!

Thanks for showing us so much of California!

              Happy Quilting!

Loved the show even though I missed some things. I was watching at work and had to keep the sound down. don't tell anyone.

I loved the road trip, too! I haven't been to that part of Gold Country yet--last year DH and I went up to the Sutter's Mill part of Gold Country near Sacramento, CA. I loved the visits to the quilt shops. Can't wait for part 2!

I loved this episode!! It is my new favorite!
Seeing the yert was really interesting. I got a real kick out of seeing the ladies surprised faces when in walked Ricky...Alex and Justin. hahaha

Great show! I've loved all of the road pieces that the show has done and this is the best of the best. Absolute fun and incidentially, I learned a ton! Just love the relaxed approach to the whole thing (but I'm sure that an awful lot of work went on behind the scenes). Can't wait for part two.

I also loved the show. It was a fun change of pace from the "regular" Quilt Show!

I really enjoy checking out local quilt shops when I'm on the road, so this was right up my alley! Looking forward to part two!

I was able to impress my family on our recent road trip to Asheville, NC. Our route followed the Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers famous for their whitewater rafting. At Nantahala they were advertising Yurt Cabin rentals. I was the only one who knew what a Yurt Cabin was. Thank you TQS and Road Trip I. Sandy
