Alex, the viewers and the posters on this board, fully see how wonderful Bridget is everyday. She is really an inspiration for all of us. I have sat with my mouth opened in aw many times. Check out Bridget's turorial on machine applique. Between Bridget and Margo we have detailed directions on how to applique, as well as being able to see all the BOM's in one place. There are many talented quilters here. We applaude you and Ricky for giving us this venue for sharing our quilts. This had become my favorite place on the net and my personal quild.

I was amazed at your great quilts. I wish you were my neighbor so you would keep me quilting when I get home. Quilters like you are an inspiration! I have a quilt shop and it seems the only sewng I get to do is for the shop. Not always fun stuff.. just what ever my customers will like and buy.
Thanks for stretching your creativeness.. and thanks for posting your wonderful quilts!

Thank you so much for the kind words everyone! I'm so glad we have this special place where we can all share things we've learned and learn new things from others.

Mirkwood -- I'm right there with ya on the wall space! I have a tiny house so I may have to resort to rotating things every now and then!

All of you gals and TQS are great. I am so glad that I decided to drop in on the forum a week or so ago. I have learned so much from all of you!! This is just what I needed! I have decided not to go to the 'big city' today so I can stay home to print out fabric and get my profile photos up. Thank you, Everyone, Carolyn

Yeah!! I did it !! It took me all day but I did it !! My photos are now up in my profile. And I even printed out several flower photos in (2 X 2) poster size. While looking in my files I was reminded of how many flower photos I have taken over the rears for other art work. Now I have a new way to use them!! Oh, Boy, am I going to have fun!!
Thank you, everyone, for the encouragement, the help and the nice comments that you make. I very much agree with Carla's statement. Sew Happy, Carolyn

yahoo Carolyn great job with getting your photos up. Your quilts are amazing. I love the sunset quilts. I can just step right into the one with the trees. What type of paint do you use?

I use Jacquard paints, I loooove them. They are soft feeling, highly pigmented and so fun to use! The backgrounds are usually done with the Dye-na-flow (can act like a dye) line of their paints. So pleased that you like them. Carolyn

I'll chime in and say I was inspired by Beth's show too. It was shot in March this year and since the day we had Beth in the studio I've been all hot to trot for a new wide format printer (even though her vision is to encourage using what you already have at home) I wanted a wide format printer for a variety of reasons - one of which was to explore these techniques. Guess what is setting in my office now? I named it the Beast.

All your comments about this show indicate that it lit a candle under a lot of us. - Thanks Beth - let's go quilt!
