Hmmmm. If all my friends are doing this, then maybe I should, too. Do I really want to start another project??? But it's so much fun to play with friends!!! I'll decide for sure once I get back from Long Beach, but will probably join you and use fabrics in my stash. That will justify something new!

This will be so much fun, Nancy! My assumption is that it is simple, one set of squares a week, will fine tune skills for those of us who need it, a small weekly relaxing break (among friends ) for those like you who are really good at this stuff... why not??? :P Then, you will have one more quick and easy quilt top that I am sure someone (maybe you) will enjoy!

I hope you do join in!

Okay, I'll commit now. I know I would have, anyway, so might as well bow to the inevitable! It's going to be so much fun!!

You know, I think I'll join you all. I am not a traditional quilter, but I need to use it from time to time. This would be a great way to get more refined, um, I mean refine my traditional skill set.   This is not the commitment that the BOM is to make (I still want to do that, though I seem a little booked up with stuff right now). Renata, I thank you for telling us your quilting journey so far. I think you'll really love it the further you go toward developing skills.

Yep ! I think everyone can use a brush-up on their piecing skills from time to time and the resulting quilt can be a FMQ practice piece...then into the charily bin if you don't want to keep it !!..I'm in ! Maybe be I'll do it i/2 scale !!

Great, Marilyn, so glad you are joining too! You are right, I am definitely going to use mine for FMQ practice!

I might just join you on the half scale  I had a look, and it is only 6 lessons/weeks long. I ought to be able to keep my concentration going for that long  - At the start of the year I was avidly following everyone on the Sedona Star, but by June, I had run out of steam for it. Wonder if they could do a 6 month BOM?

And if you still don't like it you could always chop it down into 9" x 12" pieces and bind it up for AAQI's
