    Margo's Class

I was just in classrooms and I saw a class by Margo. (Woo Hoo!) but it doesn't work. Any idea when we can see it?

Karen, John is working on it today and hopes to have it all working by late this afternoon. I'll post a note in the forum to let you know when everything is ready and where to find it!

Hi Margo, I just viewed the two PDFs -- thank you!!!!!!!! It was really helpful to see the things you tried and discarded -- and your thought process about it -- in the applique one. I think it will encourage me to be more adventuresome Hugs, Robin

Question for Margo: If I click on the PDF file link, why do I get an empty screen? I'm on a broadbend connection and don't normally have difficulties viewing anything.

Lorchen, they are still tweaking the links, and there is still one to be added. I'll post a note and let you know when everything is set up. Sorry for the delay, but I have no control over any of it. :?

              Hello Lorchen,

I am in Scotland and have been able to view both of Margo's PDF files since perhaps Wednesday but definitely yesterday.

              They are excellent.
Thanks to Margo for all her efforts and sharing.

I think I have worked out what my problem is. I haven't got the right version of the Adobe software. But when I go and try to update mine, the list of options is bewildering. So I'm going to wait for my very own computer guru (also known as Andy, my gorgeous younger son) to be around and have a look at it. I rather he decides what to do than me going for the wrong thing. I just have to be patient a little longer before I can see what Margo has been playing with.

Love your tutorials - clear, concise, enjoyable. Got some great tips for piping, a technique I'm thinking of using on my next quilt. Also love the retrofitting of Elmer's School Glue bottle. Take a bow, Margo!

OK everyone! All of my PDF tutorials are now up and the links appear to be working correctly, and you will be glad to know that a limited number of the fabric kits are now available! WHOO-HOO!!

For information about how to use the fabrics in the Beloved Beauties kits, or other stripes you might want to miter, check out the additional January directions here:
learn/all-boms (If you click on those photos you will be able to see a closer view!)
That tute also contains directions to pre-cut some of the fabrics to preserve some larger pieces for use later in the project that may be helpful with any fabrics you are using.

You will also see a conversion chart with yardages required. The total amount is the same as Sue's version with Bear Essentials fabrics, but the proportions are different.

If you would like to see how I did machine appliqué using Stable Stuff as a stabilizer that does not need to be removed from the project, or how I retro-fit a glue bottle to make it easier to control the amount, or how I make mini-piping to add to your projects, check here:
                          learn/classrooms/

I hope you find some of the information helpful!
