    E-mail alerts

    Hello friends -
I love the information and photos shared here. My one frustration (I know, first world problem) is that when I receive an e-mail alert about a comment or new photo, I click on the link and am taken to the TQS website where I am requested to log in. Once I log in, the link from the e-mail doesn't function and I can't find the information to which I was alerted. Does that make any sense? If I go back to the original e-mail again to click the link again, it will open up a new page and I start the same routine once more. What does everyone else do?
    Best wishes,
    Mike

    Hi Mike -

I haven't had that problem. Do you click the "Remain Logged In" check box when you log in? I did that once and remain logged in until I reboot my computer. Maybe that would work for you.

Mike I have been having a similar problem. When I get an email to do with one of the groups and try to access it I am not logged in. When I login it brings me somewhere else. This time it was to 'TQS Community' where I happened to see your comment. Really annoying! Yet another aspect of the 'Groups' part of the website that I really don't like and believe does not work as it should.

Rita & Mike, Please email Bob/customer support and find out what's going on for you. My response is the same as Nancy's I stay logged-in until I reboot. Hope you get it straightened out. Keep us posted on how it's going.

          Hi Mike,

If you login first BEFORE you click the link, then clicking the link should take you to the right place. I certainly understand your frustration that it doesn't work as you'd expect.

          Hope this helps,
          Nancy

Nancy's answer is a good one, hadn't thought of that. Usually if I click on a link but have to log in, I use my back button to go back to the original link.
