Yeah Lotti, that's so cool. Maybe it's the Superior Threads one - that would be good wouldn't it? Or the Alex or Ricky bundle - In know you are getting low on fabrics.

Lotti - have it shipped to Canada so I can look at the winner and the prize when you come visit your parents!

Well, since I did not win I treated myself to a new iron. I ordered one of the dry irons from the Vermont Country Store. It had been recommend on one of the other posts. I have three irons downstairs to get rid of, a Rowenta (leaks and now will not stay on), a Black and Decker( will not come on), and a Sunbeam (that does not get hot). An iron that works will be my prize.

Kathy, I think that you will really like the dry iron from the Vermont Country Store. I use mine all the time. I especially like that it gets HOT; it gets hot FAST, and it doesn't turn itself off!

Me too, love the iron, but make sure you unplug it when you are finished. Just turning the temperature all the way down leaves it on warm, not off. I discovered mine after it had been on for a week, still warm. Lucky I didn't burn down the house.

I keep mine plugged into a power strip that also has a lamp plugged into it. I know that if the lamp is on, the iron is on!!

And when I leave the room, I turn everything off with one switch!

Would they fit behind the couch?
