    Posts Since Last Visit

I posted this question in the wrong area under "Ask Anything", but I guess this is the place for this question.

I don't see a way to just view POSTS SINCE LAST VISIT. That is different than view new posts. Under the old system, I could log on, go to view posts since last visit, scroll down and read what I was interested in, then log off. On my next visit, I would go to View Posts Since Last Visit and there would be a short list of only posting since my last visit whether I read the previous ones or not. Now, it seems when I log on and go to View New Posts, the page contains all the postings I didn't read the first time around. Too much information. Am I missing something? Is there a place to go where I can easily find out how to use this new system?

I like the look of the new forum, and I'm not adverse to change, but the transition needs to be easier. I come to this site to relax. I want to spend my time quilting, not investing a lot of time in relearning how to navigate the site. Please advise. Thanks.

Louise, I'm not sure but I think that if you will go back to the Board Index (top left of the screen) and click the place on the top right of the screen that says "Mark Forums Read" it will start you from scratch. Then when you click on "View New Posts" only the topics that have been added to since your last visit will show up. From that list, you can click on the icon at the far left of each topic and it will take you directly to the first comment that you have not yet read. Hope that helps!
I'm finding this forum much easier to keep up with than the old one.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Is there some place we can go to for instructions on all these changes? You seem to have a great handle on this stuff. Just trial and error or is there a little instruction blog/log I'm missing?

No, Louise, I'm just poking around the new features. If I can answer any questions so that we don't have to bother Guru Bob with it, I'll give it my best shot!
