Hello! Is this where we are all supposed to introduce ourselves? I too am glad that the forum is up and running! Quilters need a place to talk and share ideas too! And of course show and tell is a must.

Welcome, rickysmom! You've got quite a talented son...guess the apple didn't fall too far from the tree?!

It seems that the posting has slowed down...could it be that we're all "sew" busy working on our quilts?!

Hello from South Missisippi! This is great! I'm learning to chat (my boys will be so proud) and am really enjoying looking at profiles and the gallery. This instant resource is going to be so valuable for all of us. Can't wait for the shows to start up!

Hello to everyone new. No snow here in MD at the moment but what I call "snow gunk" (wintry mix) is due overnight and tomorrow. A perfect day to sew don't you think? Of course, everyday is a perfect day to sew.

Here in Utah we call that 'white mud'. Good excuse to stay inside & quilt, no?

Hello to all from snowy Connecticut. We had 5 inches of new snow but all in all have had a mild winter. Just taking a break from putting my sewing table back together again after my quilt night with the Applevalley Quilters guild was cancelled due to the weather. Ughhhh, that machine gets heavier to lift every year!

Hello Connecticut, and all others, far and wide. It's about 50 degrees here in Phoenix now (11 AM) but will get warmer as the day moves along. NO SNOW!! I'm from Northern Minnesota originally, so I know from where all you Snow People come. You have my sympathy and respect. I salute you for being able to handle the cold and snow. By the way, do all of you LOVE this site as much as I do???
