    9 Patch Pizzazz Quilt

Hey longarmer's I have a quilt made from a book called "9 patch pizzazz". It has a Japanese theme about it with the blocks done on point. Has fan shape look with flying geese (not the block but the bird) going across it. As well as these beautiful Iris's. It is a wallhanging and I am stumped to how to quilt it. Any suggestions???
By the way if anyone has this book a similar quilt is in it - she purchased it as a kit or bought fabric to make like the one in the book. Thanks for any help........Lynda

Lynda, I see thread painting for details on the flying geese and irises... how about you select a motif say 4' irises and use that as your "stipple'...Lissette

      Lynda,
I would use the shape of the irises and quilt "ghost" irises. Do you want a sky effect with the geese? If not, emphasize the fans. If you highlight the geese, you could do something like a horizontal jet stream type cloud. Clear as mud?
