When I said I wanted to keep the Baby Lock used as a loaner he didn't blink an eye. It was brand spanking new with everything still sealed. A little more than what I wanted to spend but this shop gives free maintenance for life, so only after 2 checkups it pays for itself. Yipee!!!! My baby is back.
    That's great, Violet!

Inquiring minds can't help but wonder, though . . . if you got your Pfaff back, why did you also want the Babylock? Does it do different things?

I don't want to haul the heavy Pfaff to classes or charity quilt meetings or to California when I visit my daughter and family. I only need straight stitching and the Baby Lock is a perfect solution. It is small and light weight plus mechanical which eliminates electronic problems because I keep moving it around. Plus the sewing shop offered free maintenance for life and that pays for itself in 2 cleaning sessions. At apx $130 each time I no longer have that expense and have a wonderful running machine. I absolutely love my Pfaff and it will be my main machine, but after giving my granddaughter my spare machine a couple years ago, I learned that having a spare is a must.
