I am having trouble keeping my needle treaded. I like to use the cutter, but when I start to sew, the needle becomes unthreaded. Anyone experience this? -
Yes, I just bought a Bernina 530 Swiss Edition and I am having the same problem. I have an older Bernina and never had any problems with that one. -
I have a 750QE and I am not having this problem. What kind of thread are you using and what size is the needle? Is it possible the thread is very thin and the needle is a 90/14? Maybe they don't like each other? See if changing the needle makes a difference. That's all I can think of.

I had changed the thread but not the needle. I changed the needle, and so far my needle is staying threaded. Thanks for the tip!Comment
