    Getting a Bernina at last!

I will become the proud owner of a Bernina 635 at the end of the week. It was barely used as a demo and does have the embroidery module.
My first and only machine was a Janome I bought 10 years ago to take my first quilting class. I am really looking forward to learning the embroidery
    but a bit intimidated .

How delightful! Don't be intimidated. Take time to learn how to do embroidery and take a good look at the Bernina website experience pages http://www.bernina.com/en-US/Experience/Overview that have a LOT of sewing tips. For the most part you can use the same techniques you see there from the other series machines for yours. Also spend a lot of time with your manual. So happy for you.

You will have so much fun with the embroidery system and all the features available. Be sure to sign up for the Bernina webinars online. I've watched them for the last several years and learn something new every time. If you miss one the day it's offered, it is posted on their website a week or two later - http://www.bernina.com/en-US. Have fun!

If you can locate a copy of the Bernina Workbooks (should be able to find online) and work through those, they are great.
