I just wanted to share my news, I am now the pround owner of a Bernina Aurora 450. It took me a while to choose between the 450 and the 440 but I don't need the bsr so the 9mm stitch width was the decider.

Congrats! I love, love, love my 450 and am in my second year of owing it. You couldn't pry that machine from me. Have fun!

Congrats on your new baby! I love my 450. Having the 9mm opening was a definite deciding factor for me. It does a beautiful job with embroidery also and, should you ever decide to add the BSR, isn't it nice that you have that option?Comment

Yes I'm really pleased with my machine.I work in a sewing machine shop that sells all makes and while I have had a Janome for twelve years I have always wanted a Bernina. In my opinion(unbiased-lol) they really are the best. I now feel I am part of the club!Comment
