    New Bernina

I finally did it!! I broke down and bought the 830. The deal was just too good to pass up. Now, I'm going to really have to sell a machine or two!

I'll probably sell my 640 (with embroidery module and BSR) that I've almost never used and maybe my 220. I have way too many machines but the 830 is just awesome! You're right, though. It's hard to give up any of them. I'm attached.

Congratulations! The 830 is fabulous! If you have a 5mm machine in your collection, you might want to keep it.

Congratulations! Selling the old ones reminds me...always keep the boxes! I just sold a 930 and fortunately didn't have to ship it, but, old as they are, they're still selling for $700 plus shipping on Ebay. The trouble is, shipping is really expensive if you don't have the original box. I agree with Cindy, keep the 5 mm machine if you can.

Yippee!! How did you get a good deal? I thought they weren't "dealing" with the 830. :? Tho I'm not even sure I could convince anyone if it got down to 10K anyway....

              Congrats & have fun!!

I'd def sell my 200 if I had an 830. But the 1130, that ones a keeper forever.

Congrats and enjoy! I have had mine for a few months now. I didn't have the decision of getting rid of another machine as I only had my 35 yr old Elna and decided to keep it as a back up.
