Lorchen, we've gotta get together with you. You're a party waiting to happen! And I want to be there!

Maybe a fund to get Lorchen to Houston 2013? We could sell little Lorchen quilts and help her buy her tickets, she could have a booth at Houston, and give standup comedy every afternoon! At least meet for the TQS dinner. If this goes, maybe a new thread should be started.

Terrie, I retire at the end of July 2014, so Houston 2014 is a distinct possibility. I have been told that the Houston Show is the size of 11 football fields. That would wear me out completely. Actually, I really fancy that show in New England. It may be more manageable, and there are more lighthouses in the vicinity. After quilting and needlework I'm quite partial to hug any lighthouse I can get to.

Well, I know the proper way to iron clothes but I don't do it unless I have to to look presentable. My iron is used most often--just for when I am sewing and need the seams to behave and to have the fabric lay flat.
