    Needle cushion

Sometime ago in a TQS newsletter a brilliant idea for a sewing machine needle cushion was shown, I would like to make one as sewing machine needles (that you can't read the size on except for with a magnifying glass) are a major issue for me and this needle cushion was divided up in sections that were written on and you would know what's what! A bit of a shot in the dark but I hope someone with a better memory or who made one knows where to send me! I do keep all my newsletters but the idea of scrolling through them all makes my heart fail! Why don't needle manufacturers use colour on different needles like the old Kenmore needles had?

That might be the Dresden Pincushion listed in the PROJECTS tab. It's a really cute cushion with rick-rack. You could write the needle size in each Dresden "petal" and pin your needles in the appropriate section.

    Have fun.

Thanks but that's not it, it isn't in the Projects list but was on a newsletter, there was a very clear photo and some information.

Margo, what a genius you are - I had to have a quick look at your profile to see if you worked for TQS - how did you find that? Wonderful, I now have it starred and can find it easily. It had been irritating me that I couldn't remember and I think it was before the Red Heart to mark your favourites. Thank you so much!

You are quite welcome, Margarita! I just clicked on the Newletter link (under "Features" on the purple bar) and entered "pin cushion" in the search box and scrolled down until I saw that photo! TQS ROCKS!

Brain about to go into overload! Not really, just that I have trouble remembering how to do something when I go back to it again but now I have all this help filed away, thanks to you!
