I also vote for audible.com. I'm into classics right now - listening to "Atlas Shrugged". I found that I have to be sewing while listening, otherwise I fall right to sleep! My other love is movie soundtracks - favorites are Cider House Rules, Out of Africa, Dave, and Angelas Ashes, Dances w/ wolves, Hundreds more

I listen while I'm folding clothes, cooking, washing dishes and sewing. Sandy, if you are interested, I can give you a long list of mystery authors. A good place to discover new mystery authors is

We went to see The Secret Life of Bees on Monday, what a wonderful movie that is. I had been saving the book to read after seeing the movie. I read it last night, and it is a wonderful book, too, and the movie followed it quite closely.

I love love love listening to audio CD books on my iPod - I check them out from the library. But - if you look at the files on the CD - there are a gazillion files on each CD. Ug.

Here's a website that explains how to take all the files on each CD and turn it into just one file as you import it into iTunes - wonderful!

                  http://aldoblog.com/audiobooks/itune...ing-audio-cds/

and if you want to go crazy - here's how to get the "optimal" settings for this process:

                  http://aldoblog.com/audiobooks/itunes/import-settings/

And if you want to import a disk of audio MP3 files (it's a little different) - here's that info - it's a bit more complicated:

                  http://aldoblog.com/audiobooks/itune...rting-mp3-cds/

                  Enjoy!

"flowergirljess" - Lifetime channel is showing 5 new movies based on Nora Robert's books over the next few weeks. Through my library I have downloaded them using Overdrive and listened to them over the past several months.
