I don't do this artform (not by machine, anyway), but I found this web site while looking for a tool to make removal of my Janome throat plate a little easier.
When I saw the innovation and creativity of their other tools, I just had to share with all of you who might be interested.

The flat screwdriver is great for changing the plate. It is so much easier to use than the screwdriver that came with my 6600! -
Lynn great idea, I have the MC9000 and the screw on that is awkward to get out I have to put the screwdriver sideways so hopefully this little gadget will do the trick. Thanks
