Great, Stacey. They will be treasures for sure. Speaking as a former teacher of little ones, that would be so much more meaningful than a trinket or a fragrance sachet that I couldn't use.

So, I am going to try to post something with a picture. This is a group project for our District Missionary League. This is the banner that our president will be carrying in for the national convention at the end of June. We wanted to get it done early so that we could send it to Peoria early and it has a chance to "hang out" after being mailed in a tube.
The following is the statement our Committee chair wrote [She also designed the banner.] to explain the meaning: The sun rising over the mountains and hills signifies the wonders of God's creation. The cross in the center of the mountain top reminds us that Christ died for our sins, we are forgiven and we should keep Him in the center of our lives. The downward slope of the hills and the words "Living on the EDGE with JESUS" tell us to step out of our comfort zone, witness to others and spread the Word of God's grace. By keeping Christ first, we will not fall off that edge.Comment
