Thursday & 10 days till Spring!

Well, if March keeps flying by for me at the rate the first ten days did, it will be Spring and then April will be here in no time. But tomorrow they are calling for 3 - 5 inches of snow in my area of Michigan. Oh goodie.

I finished DD's pajamas (YEAH!) for which I had the flannel for over two years and then lost the pattern!! I decided when I moved into the new house and still never found the pattern, it was time to just go buy another. So I did and made a matching top and bottom and another pair of bottoms as she likes to sometimes wear just a t-shirt with them to bed. Will post pictures in the March finishes when I get the binding sewn on the 2008 Thimbleberries quilt that is on my UFO list. Hoping that will get done tonight! Gotta finish getting ready for work. Hope everyone has a peaceful day.

Kathy--A finish is a finish so please post. Reading that I thought I could make pj bottoms for husband than I remembered I only quilt now. No new projects as a result. Then I was trying to speed the calendar even more. I was convinced today was St Pat's Day. I got myself straightened around on that. Now I have some book keeping stuff to get off the desk before I can do some running around, getting groceries, etc later. I should also be able to squeeze in a bit of hand stittching somewhere.

Kathy, isn't this weather ridiculous? And here we are going back on Daylight Savings Time already! Yes, please I want an extra of daylight at night so I can SEE ALL THE SNOW ON THE GROUND!

Agnes, glad your calendar got straightened around. Yes, you have another week before you can drink green beer.

I dreamt of sewing last night. Too bad those stitches didn't hold. But hubby is going ice-fishing all day on Saturday, so I'll hours to myself to work on things. I really need to get back to my old sampler quilt, still sitting in its frame for an embarrasingly extended length of time. ops:

      Have a great day, everyone!

Cold and dreary here today and heavy rains forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Better than snow, for sure. I'm off to dig out a UFO to work on tomorrow for a March finish. Agnes, look what you've started ~ you're such a motivator! Hugs for you and Vern this morning. Last night when I couldn't sleep, I was drawing in the air, trying out some new free-motion patterns. Good thing no one can see in my windows, LOL.

Our snow piles look like large chunks of volcanic lava as the rains keep shrinking them into craggy masses of grey. Only a few left in the big parking lots around here. I did manage to get sewing yesterday on a donated panel that I'm making for our comfort quilts. It's a really cute dalmation puppy thing. Hope to finish it today.
Hugs to all -- have a great day.

I'm in Reno...........we got up to snow on the ground early in the week but it was all gone by lunch. Today the wind is howling...I think we're going to end up in OZ before long....I'm soooo ready for spring!
