    Saturday Afternoon

No one started today's post so I thought I would for a change. It is a bit chilly here today, in the 50s, but nothing like a lot of you are having to deal with. Although two days ago it got up to 80. It is enough to keep you spinning on what clothes you are going to need to wear. I will be glad for Spring to get here.

I'm going to work on a past due baby quilt today. Hopefully I will make some good progress because the mom is in labor as we speak.

Hope everyone is staying warm and safe.

Didn't get any sewing done today but finished putting rows together on my sampler quilt... I put pics of it under the category "need help with quilting" and "sampler quilts"...

Today I cleaned house, baked buns, mopped floors etc... have people coming tomorrow for dinner and the game. Should be a fun day...so no sewing again until Monday! Have a great rest of the weekend all!

7 degrees here in Michigan. I am plodding away on a quilt that the bride has waited 16 months for. Every seam has gone in 3 times and I had to quit working on it about a month before her wedding due to health and just got back to working on it last month. I don't like being in 'quilt debt.' This one is going to a longarmer when pieced. I've never done that before but it must get done.

I use Gold Bond foot lotion for my hands in the winter when they start cracking and bleeding. Its super thick so can't use my hands right away or a big mess but it works wonders when I find the patience to use it. By the time I realize I need it my hands are too bad to do anything with them.
The other way which is really strange you can use it is to apply it at bedtime then cover hands with a sock. Leave it on over night , works great on the feet that way too btw.lol.

Good luck getting them healing , it sucks when whats making you better is causing caosis somewhere else.
