Thanks Pam. I don't think I actually saw that quilt at all! Thanks for the nice photo of me - I reckon Janet must have taken that one as she's not in it. I look like death warmed up in the ones from day one - probably because I had to get up at 3.15am to catch the flight. Don't ask.

I loved that quilt(s). The balance and design was so interesting. Not sure I agreed with the judges comments but I don't often.

      Nice Friday picture

I'm so sorry that I have not been on the Forum since I came home. I don't have time for reading all the new pages now. Just want to tell you I came home to chaos. My mother got an appartment in a nursery home and I had to get everything ready for that. She broke her hip in July and from the hospital she was transferred to a place where they could help her train, but she can't walk now and can't go home to live again. She's 91 and a bit on the dementia side also.
We moved her this Friday and I still have some arrangement to take care of. But I promise I will be back later.

Thank you Rita. Now that the lil ones are back in school I should have more time to "hang out" with you all.

Hugs to you and your Mom Norma. Sending healing thoughts her way.

Norma, we'll be sending positive energy your way, knowing how all consuming this time is for you and your mom. I hope you get her settled nicely soon so you can spend some quality time with her, even if it's just holding hands. Peace.

Sorry that your mother isn't doing well, Norma. It's so good that she has you to help her adjust to the changes in her life and to take care of the things that she can't! It's a very stressful time for you, too, so don't forget to take care of yourself, too. Big hugs from all of us!!

I'm out of the loop a lot too, am so far behind in reading The Forum, but am trying to catch up when I can... just saw Norma's note and, Norma, I wish you well with your mom and hope that all settles into comfort for her and peace of mind for you. Thinking of you!
