    AQS Des Moines 2012

The Des Moines AQS show is coming up on Oct 3-6. Is anyone going? I will be there on Thursday and Friday. I hope to see some of you there.
Margo, I will be sure to drop by your booth to say Hi!

I am going on Weds & Thursday to see my quilt that was accepted!!

I'm going alone and staying with a friend about 1/2 hr from the sight so will take it easy and go slow just getting in what I can. I have a dear friend that works for AQS and will be at the show so I'm hoping to get a chance to talk with her on a break. I suppose I need to dig out my TQS pin. Not sure where it is.... :?

Great news, Joyce! Looking forward to pictures, especially as we won't all be able to join you to visit in person

Joyce, I will look for you there. I will be there with my daughter, and 2 teenage GDs. I will be looking for your quilt. I really like the Des Moines show. It is not near as hectic and crowded as the Paducah show. We have started a tradition with the girls. We go for 2 days, spend the night in a hotel (has to have a pool), and go out to a nice restraurent. No younger siblings or dad's allowed. Good luck on your quilt.
Maybe we could meet at Margo's booth at 1:00 on Thursday? If anyone else is going, please join us.

Oh yes, I didn't know about the meet-up at Margo's booth. Do you know where or what number that is?

I've realized I've never posted my quilt to here. I'll try to get on that! It really is such an honor to just be there, I'm not really expecting any awards!

Joyce, as far as I know, nothing has been arranged for a meet and greet yet. I wanted to say Hi to Margo, so I thought that would be a good place to meet since I did not see The Quilt Life or Ricky Tims on the vendor list. Margo is now working for Handiquilter and she should be in their booth. I don't have the booth number, but we should be able to find it.
