Lois, someday I will catch a flight and we will head off to a quilt show together - wouldn't that be fun?
I'll hold you to it. I am within a 3 hour drive of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington,DC and NYC. The Harrisburg, PA airport is an hour away. I have driven in all those cities but NYC and I am not to comfortable about driving there. I want to go to the Houston show sometime. I haven't gone to any really big shows, but I am going to try to do some as time goes by. Its hard for me to get my head wrapped around packing and flying somewhere and also shlupping all the sewing stuff for classes. I do the flying and traveling on my own often. Someone ought to do a tutorial on packing for a quilt show and classes. I need lessons.

You're right, I probably should just let well enough alone! Especially since the picture you would have to work with is of my dog! Of course, he is a bit cuter than me.....

You should go to Houston Lois. The first time I went I flew there alone and only "knew" members from online. Very quickly I got to know so many in person and have now been eagerly going back to see dear friends. You can use the sewing machines in the classes instead of shlupping yours along. Hope I'll see you there!
