    Carol Moellers wins Ricky's 5 Fabric Challenge

    Congrats to Carol for her very beautiful winning quilt. This is what Ricky's latest newsletter says:

    "Congratulations to Carol Moellers, the winner our 2012 Five Fabric Challenge. Her quilt, Ocean of Dreams, will be available as a kit and pattern from Ricky Tims in the upcoming months. This year the selection was made using a point system and a panel of four quilting professionals. The voting was very close as only one point separated 1st and 2nd place. The judging panel consisted of Ricky Tims, Jan Magee, Justin Shults, and Irene Berry. Second place is awarded to What's the Buzz by Michael Michalkowski (our 2011 winner) from Brooklyn, NY. Third place goes to Thunder Cloud by Jan Soules of Elk Grove, California. The winning quilts were chosen based on originality, ease of patterning, and broad appeal."

            Let's see if this works. I thought the picture would be on Ricky's website, but have not been able to find it. Then I thought you could read his newsletters there, but couldn't find that either, so now I copied the quilt from his newsletter. I really didn't think it was such a secret
