Hi, it sounds like there will be a good group at Paducah this year. I'm going, Lord willing, I have my airline tickets and just ordered a car today. I'm getting excited and hope that the weather works to our advantage this year. I hope to see you all at some time during the week.

Is everyone going to try to meet at a certain time and place each day at the show? I will be there on Wednesday for the day. I know Robin has invited us all after the show closes, but I don't know if I can make that (DH will be entertaining himself all day!). Are you going to wear a TQS badge? I would just love to meet everyone that I could while I'm there. Bev

I'd love to meet others at the show too. I'm staying with a long-time friend and we'll prob be visiting all evenings.

I'll be there too - I don't know of any special place to meet. I'll be at my various quilts, but would love to see some of you also.

If someone can come up with a special "spot" and time, I'll try to come.

In Houston we meet at the TQS booth at 1:00 each day. TQS will not have a booth in Paducah, but Ricky Tims will.
Maybe Justin would be willing for that to be a gathering location for a brief Meet & Greet.

Should I email Justin directly at their website? Bev

This would need to be away from the "photos with Ricky" line!

I sent an email to Justin on their website to see if meeting at their booth would be acceptable - will let everyone know when I get a reply. Are there any other suggestions? This is the largest quilt show I've attended so far - maybe those that have been there before would know of an alternate good spot. Bev

Have a look at this blog entry by Robin, maybe it will help. Wish I could got to Paducah, sigh, maybe someday.

Ooh, I'm so excited that Paducah is just 10 days away.
Let me reiterate my invitation to all TQS members - at the close of the show each day, you are welcome to stop by and visit with other TQS friends at my house in Paducah. It's at 321 Madison St., which is just a couple of blocks from the convention center and the museum, in the Lower Town Arts district. We'd love to see you! I have two TQS members staying with me during the week - dlquilter and krwatts (otherwise known as Dana and Karen) - so it will already be a TQS party.
Look for the TQS banner hanging out in front. You can't miss it.

Robin, thanks for your address for us. I'm going to do my best to get there Wednesday afternoon before we leave Paducah. I'm counting down the days too!!
