Friday (because it's still school holiday) or Saturday are both fine with me. Sunday is not possible.

I had a good day in Yorkshire and met Rosemary there, she's starring on the flat Rita thread.

        Some of the quilts.
I loved these by Dilys Fronks. She made two quilts by using the cutouts from the first on the second. Clever eh?

My photo's don't show it but there was some beautiful fancy machine stitching on it

        this little quilt was fun

Shame you couldn't make it Lorchen - there were quite a few lighthouses there

Wonderful quilts ladies, thanks for the photos.

We were just talking about St. Patrick's Flag over dinner this evening and my daughter informed us that the Union Jack is a combination of the Saltire of St Patrick (which is a red X on a white background) together with the original flags of Scotland, Wales and England. I learn something new every day.

Thanks for showing me how much I have missed.

But since I have aquired Grandmother status my priorities have shifted a little. One of these days Eva will be old enough to go to quilt shows and look after her tottering granny.
