Oh, I forgot. I have a quilt in the theme contest. It's called "Floatin' Around the Meadow." I have no idea where it will be hanging. We are driving up Thursday to Corvallis and then over to the show on Saturday.Comment

This is also my fourth year. I have entered two quilts, have two postcards that are in the silent auction at Sisters Art Works, and a quilt block in the quilt block contest. Among other things, I'll be at Ricky's program Thursday night. I've been working on getting more of my quilting friends to come down -- we will have five of us there this year. Woo-hoo! I went for many years and haven't been the last 5. It was always so much fun to see all the great quilts that were hanging everywhere! I used to take classes before the actual weekend event and that was always great especially if you had a great teacher. I do remember how hot it would always be and that you had to go early early. Not only because of the heat but also because of the parking problems. So everyone that is lucky to go drink lots and stay cool. Let us know how great it was when you get back. Mary NoelComment
