I'm addicted, and proud of it! I also check in from work, with all the transitions of being short staffed, people leaving and others adapting into new roles this is the best thing to hang on to my sanity! Thank you my freinds for being a part of my support group and helping me get my fix.

Ricky has called me a convergence addict and has declared that I run a twelve step program for myself and others. And I am a dyed in the wool, pure to the bone, and totally committed TQS addict and you know what I don't care. When you think about some of the other things I could be addicted to, this one is pretty mild. And where in the world could an addiction add so much fun and so much information and inspiration to your live than here.

SO I AM AN ADDICT AND PROUD OF IT. (And woe be unto the soul who would have nerve to try to do an intervention to stop this addiction. )

Dana you're really brazen!! I can imagine I'd get "caught" if I was trying to sneak something, but I DO take my BOM or other hand-work to many meetings (right out there in the open! LOL) I don't think I could listen to one thing and chat at the same time, I'd get confused!

This week we are in Sycamore Illinois about an hour from Chicago. Normally we stay in a County forest preserve near Elgin but that has a two week in and one week out rule for camping. So we had to move to a private Campground right in Sycamore. DD and DGD live in Chicago so we try to be close enough to go in and see them. Ann

                Addicted???? Moi???? Never!!!!

I always get a drink when I get back from school before checking what's new on TQS.... I'm ignoring Ricky's hand-dyed fabric on my design wall (aka cheap Ikea calico curtain)...... Looks great. Maybe I should consider buying a few more pieces and turn them into a curtain panel.... I was deternmined not to do the BOM, so I have only printed out the instructions, cut the background fabric and collected about half the necessary fabrics.... I did not do Alex's lovely fishing quilt. I more or less ignored it (but I used the fish shapes in an appliqué piece).... I have the fabrics waiting and ready for another Convergence, but I'm valiantly resisting the temptation to start it (could also have something to do with working full-time).... I only went and hugged Ricky once a day when he was in Birmingham, and I had to be dragged shouting and screaming to his special evening (Can I, please, be nominated for the Oscars, category 'Fibbing')... I very rarely contribute to any topics in the forum, and I only stayed up till 1am our time for a chat because I had nothing else to do.

                Addicted??? Me?? Never!!

Lorchen, you're hysterical. I have to check in every night or I get really twitchy. (What if someone posts something really good and I miss it) I love the way we have become a community and everyone's personality has come through in how they post. Yeah, I'm an addict too.

You gals are all making me smile. I check this web site constantly all day long to see what is new here :-) I'm going to be away from the computer for a few days this weekend and will be going through severe withdrawal pains!!!

I'm so very glad we had internet during our Gustav weekend at the hotel--I would've been a very grumpy girl!

I'm addicted but sometimes try to fight it so I can get some quilting done  I know once I logon to TQS I'll be there for hours so I have to limit myself. I check out the daily blog first and then go right to the forum. I've learned so much and made new friends without even leaving the comforts of my home!! Thank you all.

Daily Blog, then Member Blog, then Forum, then Quilt Gallery. I have to remember to check out Stories. I haven't started Chats because that would be one more addiction. I am sorry I missed the Chat with Sue Garman but I did read the transcript. In other words, I am a TQSlic

Sure Sandy. Daily blog, forum, Member blog and then Quilt gallery but then enough time has passed that I just have to take another quick look to see if anyone posted anything new on the forum. It is crazyness.
