can someone please tell me the best way to hang a scalloped edge wall hanging!!!!

I would suggest putting a sleeve on the back of the quilt. The sleeve can be fitted just below the scallops so it wouldn't be noticed. Then you can slide a rod through and hang it where ever. The scallops shouldn't sag forward (which is most likely part of your concern).
