    Steam a Seam wastage

Hi, Ricky...I am enjoying your blog alot but haven't tried a Rhapsody quilt YET...(that is the key word)! On your last blog you fused the basket onto the background fabric. However, the handle used so much fabric. I am a fanatic about saving all those little bits. I was just curious...What do you do with the unused portion of fabric that already has the steam a seam fused on it??> How do you store it?

Dear KLQ, I don't know what Ricky does with his, but I will chime in.. If I have bits left that are bigger than an inch (yes, an inch, LOL you never know when you might need it) I store them by colour in a ziploc bag. I don't know what kind of climate you're in, but I live in SW Louisiana and it's VERY humid and hot here most of the year. SO I must keep these pieces dry to maintain the 'stickability.' If you live in a dry climate you may not need the ziplocs, but it works for me, so I thought I'd share.

I also store all my pieces that have fusible web on them. I have a basket that I just throw them into and then just dip in when I need any pieces.
