We Can Choose the Color & Style of the Forum

Here is a link that has forum colors and styles. I personally like the Milky Way Red.

    http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/

You pick the styles in the upper right in a drop down box.

Now you have really done it, John, because with a change of colour comes a change of icons. I'm sure it'll confuse some of us.

I like 'Getaway' because the icons are nice and large and the script is easy to read.

Alex likes Tara because of the match to our color scheme.

Some of them, like QuiltingSewing and Spring Flowers have some funky icons! Too many choices for me....I'll stick with what it came with!

Margo, I think it's TQS who decide what style they want for the Forum. I'm quite happy with whatever they decide, as long as the icons and the writing are easy to read.

I guess TQS could spend a lot of money and have a style designed especially for us, like with the TQS star as an icon, one of Ricky's quilts as a background and one of Alex's in the banner at the top..... But, to be honest, I'd rather that TQS spends money on those wonderful little teaching videos, the shows, and whatever else is directly related to our common passion. Expensive style and color designs for the forum are overkill, in my view.

I think I'll stick with what you all decide.

I also like Tara. The color is nice and it is easy to tell which forums have unread messages. I also like that it doesn't span across the entire monitor screen.

I like Tara, Celtic Dreams and Quilting and Sewing about equally. I also like the Christmas one, but I guess it's a little overkill to have that up all the time (I like Christmas so much I could celebrate it all the time... :-)

There are about 10 that I like but, of those, Tara is the easiest to read. I'll be satisfied with whatever is chosen.

Tara looks eye-appealing and coordinates with the rest of the website.
