I'm with Lorchen, thank you so much for the free Redwork designs. I'm dutifully printing them out each day. My plan is to hand embroider the designs. I have not done hand embroidery for 20+ years so this should be interesting. Any input from the experts would be greatly appreciated. BobbiComment

Alex, your Redwork patterns are beautiful. I have not done embroidery in like 25+ years, and agree with Bobbi, any help from the experts would be appreciated.

Well I am certainly not an expert. I have a picture on my camera of a redwork quilt that my mom made that she gave me for Christmas. If I can get my DH to download it onto the computer, I will put it in a blog. I will take a close up of part of it also. FrancesComment

Thanks very much for these designs Alex. I have been working on them (I haven't stitched them in red though
ops: ) I have used varying colours and my plan is to attempt a quilt similiar to the one Margo completed, which incorporates some of the 2010 Bom blocks.

Jenny, I don't see them there any longer either. Alex had presented the free patterns as a "Christmas gift" to her viewers, so they were probably removed from the site after several months.
