When will the bell ring, and recess is over?

I so enjoyed your previous classes, Alex. I know you are busy, but I hope you can find time for some more lessons, soon.

Me three!

In fact, could you make the classrooms purchasable and downloadable? I ask because I am getting ready to follow your instructions for the star block and it's hard to find them and then clicking on each session to watch that piece.

It would be nice if they were all strung together and I could watch, stop, do, start, stop, do....

Anyway, that's my wish if it is possible.

You guys might want to try and contact the SHOW directly. i have not seen any post from Alex in a while... she does respond when she comes here but that might not be a while.

I'd say 'Give the girl some space!' It's time for Houston, always a busy time for anybody who is actively involved with it, like Alex and Ricky are.

Personally, I think that Alex is giving us a lot of her time in all sorts of ways. I can't think of anybody else who is as dedicated as Alex and Ricky to stay in touch with us 'lesser mortals'.

I miss the Classroom, too, but I'll be patient. I don't know how she copes with her schedule--she's like a whirlwind! Just dealing with airports and being away from that beautiful quilting studio.....I don't know how she does it!

I know................I am so sorry, but I appreciate that you all know how CRAZY the last 6 months have been (I have tatooed on my forhead - never again) - but here is my problem (sure, like there is only one - lol). I know there was a lot of problems with not being able to see the pencil lines - It can't really be done in ink - so my thought is to wrap it up and move on to something else - When I get home, it will be time to start in and then I am deciding what to do next. I DO appreciate your patience - and I DO love the fact I can teach world wide with put leaving my studio - oolie coolie! For my own benefit to decide what to do next- did you like the 8 pointed star or the hand quilting better?

Tough decision, Alex. Both were excellent classes. Teach us what excites you, that makes it all the better. We appreciate your hectic life. See you in Houston, Lorna

Although I don't currently do any handquilting (I have in the past), I have used what I have learned in the handquilting area. And if you go to the Show & Tell you can see the quilt I made using the Lemoyne Star lessons.
Alex, teach what you will. I will watch and learn.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

I do not hand quilt and I do as little piecing as possible if it requires points and triangles and diamonds. I am a TOTAL MAVERICK!!!!! But having said that I watched every single one of Alex's classroom segments and learned something everytime. (Maybe not exactly what the lesson was but a small tidbit or tip that I had not heard before) So Alex, dear heart, WHATEVER CLASS YOU COME UP WITH WILL BE FINE WITH ME!!!!! I love your enthusiasm and your humor and I know I will learn. I also love your techniques and tips on the shows. I have learned so much from this site. Keep up the good work. Sorry I am not in Houston this year. Am missing you all. (Give Jeff a hug for me) Ann, lonesome in southern Texas.

You can't be lonesome, Ann. There are thousands of us left here who can't make it to Houston. Plenty of company for you!

Hugs! Lorchen

Alex you can teach anything you want. You have broadened my comfort level and I just want to try everything (even curves have made it onto my skills list). One of these years I may even try hand quilting. Can't wait til recess is over. Gloria
