October Issue - disappearing text pg 27

There is missing text on page 27 of the October issue of TQL. Since the graphics extend to the edge of the page, but the text disappears, I am guessing that this is a frame problem. Also, was "hidder" intentional or is there a typo in the caption?

I noticed that, too, Diane! The Quilt Life is an entity of the American Quilter's Society, and not TheQuiltShow, but I'm pretty sure that they are already aware of the mistakes!

You must mean in the article "The Stories Hidder in Our Quilts" (sic). The editing and proofreading is lacking, and the print and paper quality is also substandard. Alex and Ricky deserve better!!

I don't have an issue with the paper, and think it's the same as before.

This is what TQL editor Jan Magee has to say about the printing error:

Thanks Margo. We knew about it and I finally got someone to post the perfect version (the one we gave to he printer) on the website. I'm going to blog about it asap to let people know that they can go here:

        Thanks!

          Margo,

Thanks for the response. I can't explain it, but it is very disappointing to me to see that type of error get to the printer. I save my issues and I show the issues to other people, especially non-quilters. It just looks sloppy.

Sorry, but I needed to vent.

Me, too, Diane!! But apparently a correct copy went to the printer. I expect there will be repercussions somewhere because of it!

Here is the corrected article: http://www.americanquilter.com/docum...esTQLV2N5z.pdf

              Margo,

That looks much better. Thank you.
