Superb service and out-of-this-world timing :)

When I got home from work today, after a hellish week, totally exhausted, and ready to collapse in the nearest chair, the new issue of Qilt Life was waiting for me. It must have had a very strong tail wind across the Atlantic. I made myself a very strong cup of coffee, and just had a quick skim through. All I can say: If you haven't got a subscription, go out and find this gem of a magazine. I now know how I'll relax this weekend: Feet up and reading every single word on every page - cover to cover......

Is that the issue where there is an artical about some guys doing a round robin quilt? The one guy in our guild (to my knowledge) is one of them! He shared at guild last week that they were in the current issue. I haven't seen it yet.

Re-reading the article, I would put money on Brian Dykhuizen is in your guild! It is a great article with some really talented guys!

This issue alone has FOUR QUILTS that are now on my "to-do" list!! The Quilt Life ROCKS!!

Yup, it's Brian! I just finished what is my best quilt to date, and it will be in our guild's big show in two weeks. The people in our guild are extemely talented, so who knows if it will get a ribbon, or not. There is a Laura Peterson in our guild that did a piece called "The Quilt Show" that won Best of Show last year. I think it also won something at Road 2 CA. She (her quilt) is also in a current quilt magazine, but I do not remember which one. You can see the quilt at laurapetersonquilts.com. Incredible!

I love the article about those guys and their Round Robbin! Then there is this amazing quilt with gazillions of little grapes, two soup recipes that sounds delicious, and I could go on.......

I, too, loved the article on the Men's Round Robin. I enjoy seeing round robins and studying the various additions. Those quilts are gorgeous!
