Della, does he do it without stepladder????

First I have to wash socks, bras, and other necessary bits of clothing. Then I must take my car to have the broken windscreen wiper motor replaced (Half a day or more gone. I'm taking a couple of quilt mags to read whilst I wait.). Then there is a pile of important paperwork relating to my later mother's affairs in Germany that needs urgent attention. If there is any time left I'll try and get my head around a little journal quilt challenge that a wonderful (or should that be 'evil'?) friend has set for me. And if there is still time after that: There is a little quilt show somewhere in the area (Note to self: Check location and times).

Hi there, Kate. Good to have you aboard. Its great fun on this website, but you have to be careful that it doesn't hog too much of your quilting time  As for your quilts they are 'loud man 8) ', nearly as loud as my latest bag

          Hi Rosemary,
Thanks for the welcome, i've been hanging around TQS for a while now but only just found this forum. I'm completing the BOM too which isn't quite as "loud" as my other quilts.

Hi Kate, Welcome to the forum and to the UKy bit!!!

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the lovely wet Autumn after the damp Summer with very dry bit in between! Lynn and I are still trying to meet in the middle but we are becoming closer to an agreed time. This year hopefully!

I had a fabulous day with Jennifer Trollope the other weekend playing with fabric. I hand my hands on some delicious fabrics and just want more, more , MORE! Next month I'm with her again burning things instead. Next week I have a workshop on free machine embroidery to hone my too few skills. I have been beavering away at a few smaller projects and just generally enjoying myself.

              Have fun this weekend everyone!

                Hello Kate and welcome!

Amo, I'm glad you enjoyed your Jennifer Trollope workshop. Are you doing the Christmas ring workshop at Pauline's? I'm half toying with that one.

hey Ladies, which day is it that those that are going to North Kyme are going?
I'm trying to plan next weekend and whether to bring hubby and daughter along, or just leave them behind (heh heh!)

Rosemary, I've got North Kyme in my diary for Saturday 17th from 10 to 5.

Shall I arrive carrying a red rose between my teeth or do you think you can recognize me from my picture (owl-less, of course).

I'm sending you a message from your profile with my mobile number so that you can get in touch on the day, if all else fails.

I'm all ready for Saturday. My SatNav is packed with the destination in it. It should take me about 1.5 hours to get to North Kyme.

Satnavs in this household = me plus map book 8)
which is fine when himself is driving as we don't get lost, but when I'm driving, himself is useless and I have to do it myself
Haven't checked out the route yet, but roll on Sat, they've got traders and I've got a shopping list for a Phillipa Naylor class

Rosemary, I got the SatNav because I'm in the car on my own and I got fed up with pulling over, stopping and checking the maps. Now a lady with a very upper class accent tells me where to go and when to turn.
