Dear sisters and brothers. What a kind, caring, fabulous group we have! I got my package today and I can't imagine what it must have been like to sort all this. Debbie and Clara, you ladies are remarkable! I haven't counted mine yet. I just looked to see where they all came from. I was a little surprised at how many weren't signed but I will love them anyway. I want to photograph my signed ones and then decide which quilt I'm going to make and if I have leftovers I will send them along too. I sent in 615 and only got 1 of my own back. I think that's great. Im soooo happy with all my little beauties. There really are a lot of fabrics I've never seen before. I love them all. Thank you all so very much. This has really been a wonderful experience. You are all the best! I'll try to get mine counted and decide how many I'll actually need within the next few days. I'm sure I can send along some and I'd be happy to sew up another strip to send if need be. I just happen to have a "few" pieces of fabric is my stash to make more.

      XXXOOO,
      Roine

I did 615 and didn't get ANY of my own back! But what seems even more remarkable is that there was only ONE fabric that I had also had, I didn't recognize a single other one as anything I'd owned or used before!

Kelly, if you read this, I can send you 26 HST's, if no one else has contacted you. If I don't see anything back in a couple of days, I will e mail you directly. Just let me know! I will send you some of my duplicates. Kathy

I counted my HST's again today (they're like trying to herd cats) and am pretty sure I'm over by quite a few. I'm going to double check tomorrow to make sure how many. I did receive some from just about all the states represented, plus the other countries. Only got about five of my own back.

The way it's starting to sound is that more people received more than they should have with counts in the 26-28 range, and not that many who are actually short. It makes me think that when people were placing stacks of 28 into envelopes that they might have lost track of how many they were putting in. When filling envelopes for 700, you had to pack 25 stacks and it was certainly easy to miscount the number of stacks. And that's probably why we actually came up a little short.

Again I appreciate that so many people are willing to give to those who were short.

Mine came in the mail today. I have already pressed them all. What fun! I am short 26.

Pam is sending me her extras. I'm good now. I'm thinking of making the Tree of Life quilt in Edyta's book. I think I will have just enough hst.

I want to give a Big Thank you to all who helped make this such a wonderful experience!! I don't post much but I read daily. I received my package a few days ago and have sorted and counted. I am over 27 and will be happy to send some to anyone that need some. I have made an excel sheet that made the counting easy, I received 7 countries and 41 states. I sent in 616 quite a few that have duplicate plus so if someone is looking for someone , state or country let me know I would be happy to trade. Again THANKS to Debbie and Clara for a GREAT JOB!!

First of all, Wow & Wow again to Clara, Debbie & all those dear ones who worked so hard to make the SOTTT such a grand success! What an incredible undertaking! Thank you x 10 million! Or maybe that should be 230,000!
My HSTs arrived & I couldn't sleep for thinking about them   So, climbed out of bed & have spent many happy hours, sorting, petting & admiring them.
My envelope had so many from other countries that I wish to share the wealth. I've compiled a list and hereby offer the following to anyone who would like to receive them:
                        New Zealand - 2
                        Australia - 12
                        Canada - 15
                        England - 1
                        Scotland - 3
                        Germany - 2
                        Netherlands - 3

Also, I'm from Georgia, USA & would be happy to send a HST or 2 if you're missing any from the Peach state.
Send me an e-mail with your address & I will be happy to send whatever you request.
I'm so happy to be part of this terrific community of quilters!

I counted mine out in groups of 10 and arranged in quarters like a diagonal sliced sandwich. There is no way that I would have counted them all at once. I went back and counted each 10 pack to see if I miscounted which I did on two.
Hope this helps. I've already adopted out my extras.
