Thanx, Lori! I'd like to trade for one from a Texan brother too. :P

   WOW! You guys really share a lot of info in a short amount of time! I can't get over how many posts I've missed in the past 12 hours! Just want to add my 2 cents worth about Ricky's seminars too...about 5-6? years ago the Northwest Quilters Guild in Portland, OR sponsored a Ricky Tims Seminar and I went to it. It was f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! When he and Alex teamed up to do TQS, this was a super-duper winning quilting team (with Margo and all other behind-the-scenes people) and we all are the happy participants of this online show and forum. TQS ROCKS!

   It is so much fun to read these posts :!: :!: :!: I'm laughing to myself about the banter over the brothers' HSTs :P :P :P I have several HSTs from Texas but not from any Texas brothers. I only have one from brother Ron, so sorry I don't have extras to share.

I'm doing my crazy Daffy Duck Happy Dance :!: 8) 8) 8) Isn't it amazing how receiving one HST from SoTTT brother Ron in Chicago via SoTTT sister Connie in Texas can bring so much happiness :!: It only happens here, folks, on the TQS SoTTT friendship forum :!:

Has anyone had a chance to watch Margo's video on today's Daily Blog? You'll need to scroll down a few articles to find it. She shows us the correct way to press our HSTs open and then remove the papers so they don't become distorted. Very, very helpful...thank you, Margo!
Margo, I just viewed your videos and they are wonderful. It is nice to put a voice to your picture. You have such a pleasant voice and you are an A-1 teacher. You are always so good at explaining things and your demonstrations in the videos are excellent. I hope you make more videos in the future.

I don't have any of the brothers--just sisters--but then I sent a small amount so that is why. What I have is great and I have done some trading so that has been fun too.

OK, I'm still patient and hopeful that my HSTs will arrive but I'm wondering how many of you are also waiting. :?: The last batch was mailed on 4/21 from Texas and I'm in New Mexico. Wouldn't you think I should have them by now :?:

I did a bulk of my mailing out on Monday and had a few remaining for Tuesday. There was a few US packages in the Monday bunch. About 10. I believe 100% of the packages are in route or in the quilters hands. Clara

I still haven't received my package BUT today I got a little pink slip in the mail to pick up a package at the post office tomorrow after 9:00 a.m. I'm so excited and I'll let all the SOTTs know tomorrow if I can do a happy dance, too. :P

Thanks Clara, I was thinking that Debbie had mailed all the US packages. Hopefully it will come this week but I won't be able to acknowledge receipt until Monday or Tuesday. Still smiling

I'm still waiting, but spending the time playing with all my batiks. I have set my expectations for Canada Post very low, so maybe by Victoria Day weekend, I'll have them. (Closest weekend to May 24 - we still celebrate Queen Victoria's Birthday - get the Monday off - except here in Quebec they don't like to celebrate the British monarchy, so they call it "Fete de Dollard" some famous french guy - and we still get the day off!) Speaking of a Monarchy, is anyone interested in the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton? Any loyalists out there? What would a 'royal' quilt look like? I'd say silk. Wow!
