It should be fixed now! I was writing directions for uploading a profile photo, and apparently the computer thought I wanted to change mine!

My stripping days are done :-) I will mail them out tomorrow and will email when they are actually sent. I did the 200 and sent a few extras for whomever needs. I will also send a fat quarter for Barb.

I submitted the info again, not sure if I have done everything right.

                  Hi Everyone,

Some of you have asked how many "strippers" we have. The number is about 212. I am more interested in keeping up with the names and amount of strips I receive. Some people may sign up and change their minds, etc.

As of yesterday's mail I have received 40 packages totaling 6340 BEAUTIFUL batik strips.

Please remember to send me an email when you mail your strips.

                  Barb

I just ordered my fabric for the background of my spools, and it was on sale with half price postage. I am trying to clear my quilting machine so I can start when the strips arrive.

This is the first fabric exchange that I've ever participated in, and I am so excited about it.

Today, I finally purchased my batiks--it was so much fun choosing from the hundreds of beautiful batiks available. Since the bolts of fabrics were stacked on the shelves such that only about 1 1/2" of each was exposed, I could see how the strips would look before making my selections. When I pulled fabrics from the shelves, they were even more beautiful when I could see their entire designs. The store clerk was very generous when cutting the fabrics for me, so luckily I'll have a few strips leftover to keep from each of the fabrics I chose. Unfortunately, I didn't catch a sale, but I was able to use my discount card.

I also stopped at the post office to get my postage and flat rate envelopes, so now I need to get to cutting my strips.

                          Hi there
I have 100 strips ready to come to you.
As I am in Australia I am wondering what to do with the postage side of things. I can't send a postage paid return envelope, as it will be in Australian dollars.
hopefully I'm not the only one with this dilemma. Sorry if you have discussed this before, but I couldn't find anything in the rules
