Here is some info for people participating from outside of the United States regarding the postage on the return package. I went the the US postal service website and was able to sign in and create a mailing label. I think this will work although I only went as far as the payment page because I have to know my mailing date and the weight of the package. Here are instructions if you are interested--there is a choice of many countries world wide.
      1. Go to http://www.usps.com
      2. Sign in (you will have to create an account if you don’t have one)
      3. Select “Click-N-Ship” from under the heading Prepare to Ship
      4. Select your country (province if you are in Canada)
      5. Select “go”
      6. Enter the Return Address (I used the address we are to ship the triangles to—Put the box number as Address 2 and the street address as address 1)
      7. Enter your address in the send to portion of the page. Make sure you have the correct country selected.
      8. Select “continue”
      9. Select “priority mail international small flat rate box” or "priority mail international flat rate evelope"
      10. Select “continue”
      11. Under “enter package information” –
      a. contents – select gifts (or an appropriate selection from the drop down menu)
      b. Contents description – Fabric
      c. Comments – 2 inch fabric squares for exchange
      12. Under “enter item information” –
      a. Detailed description – (amount) 2 inch fabric squares
      b. Item Value – (I entered $15)
      c. Quantity - (I entered 1 because you cannot get the weight to go small and then you will have too much weight compared to the package weight)
      d. Item weight – enter weight in pounds
      13. Select “continue”
      14. At the “Print shipping labels” page – review your shipping label
      15. If all the information is correct, then select “continue”
      16. Payment Method – “use a credit card” and enter your billing information.
      17. Select “continue” – print label on 8.5 x 11 sheet

Thanks for the postal tute, Debbie! Maybe some of the international members can let us know if that works from their end!

Barbara, We not asking people to include their names on each triangle, but we would really, really like for everyone to add their state/country so the recipients will know where they traveled from? Adding your screen name is great too.

Really like the idea of having state/country and whatever info on the papers. I intend to scan as many at a time as will fit on a piece of copy paper and then print on fabric to use on the back of the quilt. Couldn't bear to throw them away without documenting somehow.

What an absolutely terrific idea, Barbara. Everyone in SISTERHOOD/BROTHERHOOD land, take note of Barbara's idea to scan the papers then print them on fabric to use on the back of the quilt. I'm thinking maybe we need to start another forum topic so our Sisterhood members can post their great ideas and suggestions such as Barbara's...if we start a new forum exclusively for this subject, the ideas won't get lost within our 63 pages and 939 posts. Any ideas what we could call the new forum??

I would like to be included in the exchange also. Plan on 112 triangles.

I have been trying to find out how to SIGN UP for the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles Exchange" but cannot locate where and how to sign up. Hopefully this is the place that will work since today is the last day to sign-up. Please let me know if this works....

Thanks, Ella Goodman, Escondido, CA 92027

I have already signed up (and started sewing) and now my daughter Karen wants to jump in. She is not a member, so I will mail her's with mine. She plans to make 224.

I'm signed up for the exchange already, but I just wanted to offer to help Debbie and Clara if you need it. I live in Spring and would be available pretty much any time.

I've gotten so excited watching the list grow! I'm glad to be a part of it.
