        I'm IN!

Just an FYI - these are the sizes and rates of International Flat Rate Boxes. This might be the easiest (can cheapest) way to send back International exchange packages, the shippers just need to make sure that what they send from their country will fit in the box of the appropriate dimensions:

First price is Canada/Mexico and the second price is all other countries. Dimensions for each box are below:

        Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box* $11.95 $13.95 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8"
        Priority Mail International DVD Flat Rate Box ** $11.95 $13.95 7-9/16” x 5-7/16” x 1-3/8”
        Priority Mail International Large Video Flat Rate Box ** $11.95 $13.95 9-1/4”x 6-1/4” x 1-3/8”

There are weight limits, but all of the fabric and paper in the exchanges should not come close to the limits.

Hope this is helpful, and can't wait!

Debbie and/or Clara, please correct me if I'm wrong, but it was my understanding that we should use a batik OR print OR solid OR tone-on-tone in a med/dark value and pair it with a batik OR print OR solid OR tone-on-tone in a light value for the other half.

I think that at this point there will be so many fabrics involved that it doesn't matter what kind of design it has as long as the color value is right. Those who are looking for a more fabric specific trade (instead of - or in addition to - this one!) should get together on this forum topic: http://forum/friendship-triangle-exc...bric-exchanges

Margo I also hit my head and am confused. I'm sure I missed it but why or what are we going to do with the triangle squares we get.
Not on yet, waiting for reply.

The main thing is a light fabric and a med/dark fabric. Batiks, tone-on-tone, prints, hand dyed are all fine as long as they are quilt shop grade fabrics.

We are up to just over 180 quilters!!!!!!! Woo Hoo. I think we might need to rent a cement mixer to mix all these HST that are sent in. JUST KIDDING! There is going to be such a variety that even the quilters sending in huge numbers shouldn't worry about getting many back of their own. Just think of it, if 180 quilters sent in 3 strips totaling 84 HST we'll have 15120 HST. Impressive!
