Hopefully this will help with some questions.

To sign up. Just put in a posting in THIS forum saying "You're In" and give us your name, city, state and country. The guidelines are at the front of this posting.

When to get HST in. Deadline is on April 1. This is to help accommodate our international quilters and the delay in postage for them.

Questions about pressing and using the triangle paper. I would recommend rewatching the episode on the triangle exchange with Edyta Sitar on the Quilt Show. There is a link to go right to the triangle lesson. Here is a quick breakdown of the info. I just reviewed the show again just to make sure I'm going to give you the right answer. She recommends that you press your fabric strips first, then stack the light on top of the dark and then the paper. Pin the paper on, but don't put the pins over the stitching lines. Do your stitching, remove pins and cut on all the cut lines. You should be left with 28 triangles, folded with their paper in place. At this point is a good idea to ship them to the exchange. WHEN you get your new triangles in press them open with the seam going toward the dark. The paper will help guide the seam over.

Have fun stitching. I just got my triangle paper in. Must go shopping for batiks now!!!

I think it is so fun that we won't see the HSTs until we get them and press them open. It's like getting a little present with each one that we open!!

I'm in! Will make a lot of triangle-squares.

I presume by "2 inches finished," you mean the triangle-squares submitted will actually measure 2-1/2" (2" finished size). Please advise if not!
