I believe they are working on the member blogs--just not here yet. AND it is good to see you back. We are all having growing pains with you on navigating the new site but I think once we get it it will be great.

Just popping my head around the corner. I'm very much alive and kicking, but very busy in my new job (longer hours, no pay, no stress :woohoo: ).

At the moment it simply takes too long for me to get to grips with the new website, and rather than getting frustrated all the time, I stay away.

Those of you who 'do' Facebook will always find out what I'm up to, because I stay in touch with family and non-quilting friends that way.

Lorchen, Good to have you pop in here. We've all had our frustrations with the new website. Seems as though we've just given up on trying to form "groups" and such, and just create threads on whatever subjects we need to discuss according to our current interests right here on the Forum. Seems to work pretty much has it did before. Have fun with the grandchildren and stop in now and then.

You are right, Lois. I just have to find a way of getting to new comments as quickly as I did on the old site.

Wendy, the girls are such a lot of fun. Can't find a recent picture of Eva, because she is now in school, so I just get her ready in the morning, and then do the school run, and the same in reverse in the afternoon. But Faye has to put up with me all day. She is now 18 months and very lively.
I must admit that I'm still trying to catch up with all sorts of things, because retirement came so suddenly and I was not prepared for it at all. But I'll get there - sooner or later.

Lorchan just follow the trail of green buttons on the forum, then you will find the latest gossip. Although there is probably quite a lot of it for you to catch up on

Forgotten to mention: I'm 7 shows behind. That has never happened before. I think I'll have to plan a whole day watching and catching up.

Rosemary, at the moment I'd get hopelessly lost - too many green buttons!

Would that be Series 15? I'm sure we were told that due to some new editing software there was a slight delay, and the dvds are now scheduled for a November 2015 release. The good news: The'll all come with a signed photograph of Ricky and a FQ of Alex's latest fabric range!

I use the "Recent Topics" tab at the top of the forum. It works a lot like the "Read New Posts" link on the old site. You get all of the topics that have unread posts at the top and you click on the green "New" tag to go to the first unread post.

I can help you with that. Just go to the top of the page and right above your own avatar there is a recent topics button. Push it and a new window will come up. There is a menu right above the recent topics listed. You can choose if you want to see what's been posted the last month, last 4 hrs, since your last visit (my favorie) and others. Hope that makes it easier to catch up when you have a minute to stop by. Need to read about your adventures with your grandaughters.

Oops! Nancy beat me to it. I have a bad habit of commenting before I've gotten completely caught up.

Lorchen, Faye is adorable. You have to come back very soon with pictures of Eva.

Thank you Lorchen Faye is so sweet a nd you look well. Forget about catching up on things you have the rest of your life for that enjoy the moment you have and Ricky to look forward to.

Why not go to index and mark all topics read then just start again. We go off on so many tangents on threads you'll never read them all. Just keep to these threads the rest of the forum is mostly duplicate and will frustrate you.

Thanks everybody! I'll try to get back into it. I have marked everything as read, giving myself a new start. Let's home it works and I find the time to pop in more regularly.
