    Are yours scary??

With Halloween fast approaching, I have been wondering what you all get out of your closet for this yearly event. I have a little wallhanging that gets fixed to the front door.

One of these days I would like to make a full-size halloween quilt. But that would need some serious updating of my fabric stash. Halloween fabrics are a lot more common in the US than in the UK.

Haven't gotten around to Halloween decorations yet. We usually put up random plastic, paper, etc. items that my mom-in-law sends over, this year none as we're packing and such. :yippee!!!: But I've been gathering and saving oranges, blacks, purples, etc. so I can do a Halloween/spooky themed something for next year. Not sure what....

One day I want to have place mats in all the holiday themes, so we can swap those out as appropriate on our dining table. I have everyday ones finally (recycled denim with fabric strips down one side for color), but haven't done any holiday ones yet. Bed quilts took precedence, and then it will be on to other stuff next year.

              Lorchen, I love yours!

Margo, your witch is spoooooooky! Never learned macrame, I don't remember why. :?

I've never done anything specifically for Halloween, but I do have a fall quilt that I put up every year.

Lorchen, why not just use shades of orange, gray, and black? They would make a cool Halloween quilt.

Good for Alvin. I bought a book but that was my extent of macrame.
