Finally things are starting to move along. My Dr. Came back from her vacation and we got a response from Dr. Lagios, the pathology expert from S. Fco., CA. He talked to my Dr. and sent a written report of which I got a copy. He says is not DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma in Situ) in his opinion is Lobular Neoplasia (atypical cells). His recommendation is to leave it alone and just keep a vigilant eye on it. He also mentioned that the cancer that was initially diagnosed as Invasive Ductal Carcinoma was actually Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. We're in the process of getting figured out how to get the Aurora RODEO MRI in California, to double check. You know how insurance companies operate and been an out of state issue might make it harder. Praying and hoping for the best. My Dr. is still concerned and wants to do another surgery to get one more piece of tissue and hopefully clear margins this time. She's also getting my case reviewed by a panel of doctors to get another opinion.
In the meantime I continue with Naturophatic treatments twice a week, healthy eating, lots of supplements and got back to Bikram Yoga. Hopefully will start PT for my right arm and shoulder soon ("cording" left over from surgery)
Once again, thank you for your support and prayers.'

It's been a while since I updated this thread. There's been lots going on since then and still dealing with left over issues/side effects from the treatment. Changing and adjusting life style and habits to hopefully prevent cancer to return but, as of today, after several nerve wracking minutes, that seemed like hours, the ultrasound technician came back to the room and said "everything looks normal". Thank God for "normal" breast ultrasound. This was the great news today. Unfortunately later in the day I got a phone call to let me know that my Great Aunt, who is like a second Mom to me, fell and broke a hip. She's 86 and has osteoporosis. She'll have surgery tomorrow morning. Please pray for everything to go well and for a full recovery.
