          thanks lyn, what a fabulous site - can't help exploring further (although i really should get back to work) - but i've saved the site as a favorite so i can go back and explore some more at night.

            OMG, I am always trying to keep my bobbins with the spool of thread that I filled it with and in the sewing table link Lotti posted it shows her putting the bobbin on top of spool and using a golf tee to keep them together. How cool. Out to raid my sons golf bag. :mrgreen:

              a little while ago i saw someone else's tip about bobbins attached to spools - she used folded milk-shake-straws - she said these also work for large spools and keeps them together even when tipped upside down...

                Lynn, how absolutely charming! I'm thinking that all my close quilting buddies will need little Easter baskets made with suet cages and sewing goodies. Thanks for sharing!
