That looks like a great website - I'll have to explore it from home....

That pattern is gorgeous, let us see if you do it. It would make a good quilting pattern as well.

I grabbed this design when she first posted it - last week? - and thought that it would make a wonderful quilt pattern, am considering enlarging it to bed sized, but need to have a play to give it some corners. It is rather magnificent.

LYNN!!! Shame on you. Don't I have enough fun things to do? Don't I have enough different stashes? Don't I spend enough time on the computer? Do I really need to be side tracked by another wonderful needlework? LOL! Thanks for sharing--I do love looking even if I have to use self-control to keep from starting something new. 8o)

I do love her website. Sometimes I just look at it as eye candy and know if I ever want to look at it again, I'll know where to find it. This entry I drooled over every day for about 2 weeks before finally letting it go! ha Be sure you scroll all the way down on this to see the absolutely wonderful colors!

I added this site to my Google reader, too! Very impressive.

My Mom taught me to embroider when I was 13 or 14. Pillowcases with swans and flowers!

I haven't embroidered in over 40 years but this year I was with my grandsons and to keep them busy had them draw pictures and I would make a quilt for them with some of the pictures. My grandson that was in first grade was easy, I could applique the pictures, but my grandson in preschool only drew stick figures so I went on youtube to learn how to embroider. I was amazed a how relaxing it was to embroider again. Now to get the quilts finished this Christmas

Sure would love to see your grandsons' quilts when you get them done. They sound really fun. Pictures, please??

Yes, I'd be happy to send a picture when the quilts are done.

Anybody else have pictures of quilts with embroidery that they haven't shared yet?

It's probably a good thing I can't embroider. lol I think my head would explode if I took on anything else right now.
