    TQS logo vinyl clings

TQS logo vinyl clings – like the idea?
    Your car back window
    Perhaps your sewing machine too.
With a place to put your screen name?

I keep thinking that it would be nice to have vinyl clings (those clear plastic nonadhesive "stickers") for the back window of my car and perhaps my sewing machines too.

It would be fun to look at the cars in the parking lot and count the TQS logos. Just a thought...

I would be glad to place one on my car. I am proud to be a Charter member of TQS and would love to proclaim it to the world. Count me as a thumbs up. Betty Ann

I want one. Just today I was thinking I wanted a TQS flag to hang on my car radio antena on my way to Rochester. Problem with that is my car no longer has a radio antena.   Just can't keep up with all the changes. A vinyl cling will do just fine. Now, who's going to make them? I am ready to order one.

Since it is a logo, I imagine that there are ownership issues...I had sent a suggestion TQS via the "Contact Us, but I never heard a response.

I thought that I would post it here to see if there was interest...Let's see 4 people out of more than 100,000 members...that might explain why the TQS pins disappeared from the TQS Shoppe!

I was thinking that if we used the logo printed in the project section we wouldn't have ownership issues unless we tried to sell them. I wonder if you can buy vinyl to put through computer printers. I know at one time you could buy those magnetic sheets and print on them to make refrigerator magnets. I wonder if there is a vinyl product we could use in our printers.

Avery makes vinyl cling sheets for inkjet printers and you can get them at Amazon. Package of 10 for $14.00.

I'm taking Lois' position that if I print a label for my own use, I am not profiting from it. I have not heard from an "official" from TQS.

I'll wait a couple of days 'cause I have some priority sewing projects. However, I would like to have vinyl clings BEFORE Quilt Colorado in July.

You can get the magnetic sheets too! If you'd print the logo on that stuff you could put it anywhere on your car.

You have to go WAY BACK on the projects to find the star (page 10 of 11 as of this writing). I copied the text...it says YOU CAN PRINT IT!!! Looks like permission to me!

                        TQS Star Badge
Here is the Quilt Show name badge logo. You can print it, embroider it, paint it, or appliqué it. Just
remember to put your screen name in the bottom blue area.
This is a great way to find other TQS members while attending shows. What fun it will be when
someone sees your badge and says, "Hey, It's a New Day!"

This idea brought more than a smile with my morning coffee. Nearly sprayed a mouthful all over my computer. Good thing I have a vinyl skin on my keyboard. We can always depend on Rosemary to keep us laughing. I cannot imagine what the personal encounter is going to be like when it finally happens. It is sure to be full of laughs. Rosemary, you are a gem!

Back to printing on vinyl. Does anyone know how that will work? I am thinking for it to show up you would need to have opaque inks. I don't know that to be true, but to me it seems so. I am thinking I'd have more success with the magnetic sheets. I am throwing this question out to anyone who is more savvy about printers, inks & such.
