    Profile Pictures and Quilt Picutres

I wish more members would put a picture in their profile, even if it's one of their favourite quilt or pet. I must admit that I sometimes find it difficult to 'talk' to a featureless blue face. How about it?!

And it may also be time to remind everybody to fill up the first line of pictures with images of their quilts and/or sewing projectsmin their profile. Don't forget: When we reach a certain number of pictures in the gallery one of us will get a Ricky Tims quilt.

You could share that quilt - 6 months each.

We have over 45.000 members. It should be sooooo easy to reach the number of quilts posted.

I agree Lorchen! But I can understand why some members don't. When one gets to a certain age it seems impossible to get a decent photo. But there is always the cat, dog, rabbit, hamster, quilt etc. Anything is better than nothing folks.

I am happy to share the RT quilt with some of you when I win it  BTW when I just went into my account info it said that there are 101,813 members  . So I could have the quilt so much sooner if some of you would just post a photo of your quilts. I can't post anymore on my profile, it's full.

My profile is full, too! I'd be happy to share the quilt if one of you wins it. I might be more selfish if I'm the winner!!

I know that I didn't post my pictures at first because I didn't think my quilts were good enough to show to so many others. But I soon got over that and am very happy that I did! This is absolutely the most supportive group of people I've ever come across!!

My profile is full too. Even if somebody has only made one quilt so far, it would be easy to fill up the profile: One picture of the whole quilt, and then several close-ups.

I'm not greedy. You can all pass that large quilt around. I'd love to have one of Ricky's itsy-bitsy ones. He has two of them with him on his travels at the moment, and either of them would be perfect. They are about 6 x 8 inches. The picture doesn't do them justice. The quilting is exquisite and sparkly (Click on picture for a better view.)

Lorchen,I managed to get my picture onto my profile but I think it was sheer luck and I can't remember what I did.(Senior moment) ( Intelectual malfunction) call it what you will.
I'm not really computer savvy so don't know what to do next!
I will try again when my daughter visits tomorrow, between us we may be able to do it

Anne, I can't remember where, but there are instructions. I bet Margot will tell you when she reads this. I'm not that hot when it comes to IT either and I often have to ask my son. I'll keep my fingers crossed you'll get it done.

Actually, I was trying to figure out the new Purple Bar! No more drop-down menus! When you click on a tab, it gives you a new selection bar beneath the purple bar, and I was trying to figure out how it works! Apparently it is an effort to help the folks using I-Pads who couldn't access the drop-downs. :?:

It took me a while to figure it out too. I prefer the drop down menu by a mile this system seems a lot slower to me .... but maybe it's just me. :?
